During various semester breaks in my matriculation, I followed along with DailyUI’s prompt challenges. I gave myself an hour and a half to sketch, design, and then create prototypes of some of my favorites! A few of my best designs are displayed below.

Prompt #9: Design a music player
For this music player, I wanted to add new features I don’t frequently see in the most popular players. I thought it would be a great idea to have immediately suggested songs based on the one you’re listening to with adaptive AI. Music is something often shared with friends. Having the ability to see what your friends are listing to, and see real-time suggestions in-app was a logical thing to add.
For the prototype, I added scrolling capabilities for the recommendation, recent songs, and friends tabs. I also made the music tab at the bottom of the second page interactive!
